Fetal Positions
I got this e-mail a few days ago: Eric/Casey, Finally, after much hassle and stress, the first Fetus-X strip was published in the Daily Campus last Friday. Thanks again for dealing with all of the back and forth. I'll try to send you out a copy of that issue so you can double-check the reproduction. Thanks again. Last Friday's comic was great. Can't wait to read more. Respectfully,
Beau Carson And, besides our weekly appearances in the University of Connecticut's daily student newspaper (look for Fetus-X every Friday), we were also printed in last month's edition of the University Reporter. The University Reporter is a monthly tabloid distributed across the U.S. Fetus-X is, for now, only in the copies distributed in the Midwest. We will also be in next month's University Reporter, with possibly TWO comics. So what does this mean to you? If you're as pumped as we are, you might want to bust off an e-mail to the University Reporter and one to the Daily Campus and tell them how much you love comics about fetuses and how you appreciate their courage and commitment to contemporary art. Fight for your comics now, before someone tries to steal them from you. Be sure to include your name and phone number if you want your letter printed. If you don't stand up for the art you love, some religious extremists (such as the Catholic League) will try to steal that art from you. Our readers from Michigan State University know all too well how this works. And if you're one of those readers from MSU, you're probably wondering why you can read Fetus-X in the University Reporter, the Daily Campus, and here on our Web site, but you can't read it in The State News, the student newspaper in which it originally appeared (and was ultimately censored from). You might want to contact The State News and ask them for the answer to that one. Be sure to include your name and phone number if you want your letter printed. More mail: i thought you might like to know that about a month ago i submitted fetus x to----> http://www.humorchannel.com and i went on the site today and you guys are the most popular link and it is the only site with a perfect rating::: http://www.humorchannel.com/linkspages/pages/Ratings/ thought i would share::: a bientot~* "poetry is what milton saw when he went blind."-marquis L.
